In celebration of its 125th anniversary in 2010, Royal Selangor has created a limited edition tea set.

Limited to only 125 sets worldwide, this tea set is handmade using honoured skills passed on from Royal Selangor's founder Yong Koon more than a hundred years ago.

Inspired by Art Deco designs of the 1930s, the teapot is angular in shape with a short spout and circular handle. Decorated with hammered finish, the geometric shapes are softened with rounded corners and curves highlighting the beauty and malleability of pewter. Rattan bound handles exude a rustic feel and are a charming contrast to the modern design.

Each set is packed in a dark glossy walnut finish wooden gift box.

Accompanying each set is a copy of Royal Selangor's Born & Bred in Pewter Dust book written by Chen May Yee, great granddaughter of the founder and a serialized certificate of authenticity.
